Corporal Stephen Corley

Corporal Stephen Corley has been a member of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office since 2019. Prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office, he served in the Mobile Police Department.  Stephen has an associate’s degree from Jones County Junior College in Civil Engineering Technology.  Prior to entering law enforcement, he spent several years in marine construction as a surveyor and project engineer.  He has been a Field Training Officer at both the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and Mobile Police Department.  He spent most of his tenure at the Sheriff’s Office with the Special Operations Unit/Street Crimes Unit as a dual-purpose canine handler.  He is a member of the SWAT team at the Sheriff’s Office and is one of the team’s energetic breachers.  Stephen is a firearms instructor through the National Rifle Association and the National Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor Association.  He was appointed as the Law Enforcement Academy – Baldwin County’s Training Coordinator in October 2025.
